7P1 - Video Project

Reflection

•  Using iMovie and an iPad, I created a movie about my favorite things and hobbies. I chose to create a movie about things I enjoy because it was a way to make the project unique. Also because it's things I love and enjoy.

• During this process, I learned iMovie is fun and I learned how to change the volume of a voice-over on videos. I also learned how to upload a video onto a website. I enjoyed learning new things and because of it I now know how to make a video where I can hear my voice.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I found information by searching and figuring out the answers. I also checked to make sure my information was correct.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was having enough time. I was able to do it by focusing on one thing at a time and getting it done. Also I would work on certain things at home so I had enough time in class to do other assignments.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the video was and the music. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like it was a little bit slow. I would also change some of the music.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to engineering and design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Director and Videographer.
