I am working by myself
What materials will you need for your project?
my chrome book, imovie, code.org and something to video with
What is your plan to create in this project?
pices of abstart art
What unique qualities will your project have?
I had to learn to use a new website and code something by myself to make a project
Using code.org and artist code, I created three different coded designs. I did this because I've done a little bit of coding back in 4th or 5th grade. We didn't do much and I wanted to try to code something that I was going to be making by myself.
During this process, I learned how to code using code.org. I learned how to make brushes and lines go while using different types of codes and different shapes. I also, learned how to make different shapes and change the colors.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker, because I had to make my own code by myself and learn how to use this new website.
A challenge I overcame on this project was I didn't really know how to code and I had to play around with the site. I also, didn't know how to move my brushes to the middle of the paper. I didn't know how to make my lines straight. I was able to do it by playing around with the sizing of the brushes and the sizes of the lines one of the things that I found helpful was by looking at you tube videos on the website it really helped.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big my designs were and how long my video was. I also, would like to change my colors so its not just rainbow.. The reason why I would change it is because my video isn't the longest and my designs are a little small I would like to enlarge them a bit.
