I'm working with Makaila H
I will need a dash and an ipad and an ipod
This project is unique because it is getting a video from a robots point of view
Using a dash robot , Makaila and I created a video of my robot walking around the entire school. I did this because we have already done a maze .We thought it would be cool to get a video of the school from a robots point of view.
During this process, I learned how to use a dash robot. And how to make a video using several other videos.I learned how to code the robot so to say and how to make it go slower and faster.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I had to use a dash robot, and ipad and a ipod. I also, used my chromebook.
A challenge I overcame on this project was we were going to use a sphero robot but it was to slow for what we wanted. We also, were taking lots of videos we had a video that was 9 minutes long but it was not up loading to our imove or my google drive. I was able to overcome these challenges by getting a diffrent and faster robot. We also,found out that if the vidoes are over 3o secounds it won't upload so we had to cut our video in half by a lot loosing some of our project.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the video was I wish it was a lot longer . I wish we did a little bit more with the robot becides just the video.. The reason why I would change it is because its just a video through a robots eyes its kind of boring and we wanted the video to be much longer. So you can see more.

My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in programming robots and photo taking and video making.
