Planning Questions
I'm working with Makaila H
we need an ipad, embroidery machiene, a tripod and imovie
Using imovie and our knowledge on how to use an embroidery machine. We created a tutorial on how to use an embroidery machine. We did this because we wanted to teach people how to use this machine showing people step by step what to do .
During this process, I learned how to get different angles and shots to make sense. We also learned how to make a video and insert our voice over the video. While using an app called iMovie and other movie making softwares.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because we had to learn how to use iMovie and other movie making softwares .
A challenge I overcame on this project was we made several videos. We wanted to put them together and insert our voices over them but we didn’t know how to. I was able to do it by playing around with iMovie and messing around with the videos that we had taken and we figured out that the little microphone in the corner of the iMovie is how you insert our voice over a video.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the video is. I feel like it needs to be longer.. The reason why I would change it is because the video needs to be longer. I personally feel like it needs to be more in depth.

My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in tutorial making and video editing .
