Partners with educators to design and implement evidence-based curricula and assessments that integrate elements of deeper learning, information literacy, digital citizenship, creativity, innovation, and the active use of technology.
Empowers Students as Creators
Encourages and facilitates students to become increasingly self-directed as they create digital products of their learning that engage them in critical thinking, collaboration, and authentic real-world problem solving.

Collect data annually about digital resource usage
Create a comprehensive roadmap that outlines the development of technology skills, digital citizenship, and research skills for students
Collaborate with the Technology Director on adding Library How To videos to a central online space for teachers and students
Collaborate with the Technology Department on allowing single sign on for software that supports that technology.
Continue to collaborate with the Technology Department and Curriculum Department on databases and trainings
Work on creating more Collections in Destiny and teaching teachers and students how to use them
Promote free resources such as Badgerlink and WISELearn

Quarterly meetings with middle school ELA teachers to support their curriculum
Purchase middle school book room books for GMS/HMS with building funds using LMC vendors for better pricing
Pockets of training occur for students and teachers for online resources

HES is teaching monthly makerspace lessons that tie into school goals and 4th grade learning targets
HES is offers independent makerspace time to 3rd grade students
HES offers makerspace activities to various grade levels through the year using the estimation station for class selection

Add Makerspace lessons to GES, NGES, HMS and GMS over the next 3 years
Find other creation tools for younger grades to use
Create presentation material for students teaching the use of our online databases
Work with teachers to bring STEAM to all students through makerspace activities in the LMC and/or the classroom
