Collaborative Leadership

Current Practices:

• LMS works with technology department on a regular basis

  • Involved in setting the district's vision and strategic plan for digital learning

  • Collaborate with teachers on lessons or units

  • District LMS is currently involved with the following groups/organizations:

    • DPI School Library Workgroup member

    • CESA 6 Library Media Network member

    • Northeast Wisconsin Library Media Specialist member

Possible Areas for Growth:

• Collaborate with curriculum director, literacy coaches and teachers using the Benchmark Advance curriculum to see where the library can support the curriculum 

• Collaborating with more K-4 teachers on Digital Citizenship lessons that can tie into their daily lessons

• Collaborate with more K-4 teachers on Robotic lessons that tie into their learning targets

• Request 10 minutes at a staff meetings twice a year to highlight the library and supported technology
