1. Purchasing through SPVi
SPVi offer three options at the discounted educational price: iPad Generation 11 (A16 chip), iPad Pro 11 inch (M5 chip) or iPad Air 11 inch (M4 chip).
Students will require a minimum of 128GB storage.
Our recommendation: iPad 11th Generation (A16). This device will meet all of your child's needs from Year 4 through until at least Year 8.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Wi-Fi only (cellular connections are not permitted in school as they will bypass our safety systems)
Apple pencil or alternative stylus (required)
iPad case (highly recommended)
Keyboard (optional but recommended) - these are also often built into cases
Bluetooth earphones (optional)

2. Purchasing a new iPad independently
iPads can be purchased via the online Apple Store or in shops such as Central World. If you purchase a new iPad through the online Apple Store and have a Thai credit card, it is possible to pay via 10 monthly interest-free payments. Students will require a minimum of 128GB storage. iPad minis are not sufficient for the students' needs.
3. Re-using an existing iPad or purchasing and older model
If you would like to purchase an older model or already have an iPad which you would like to reformat for the 1:1 programme, these are the models which are supported:
iPad (9th generation - 2021)
iPad (10th Generation - 2022)
iPad Air (5th generation - or newer)
iPad Pro 11-inch (M1 or newer)
Students will require a minimum of 128GB storage.
If the model you own is older than this, please contact the IT team for advice about how long it will continue to receive operating system updates.
Please note that the iPad mini models are not recommended for the programme, as we have found that they do not meet students' needs in several areas.
