Meet Kobe

Meet Kobe, The Jag-Wires Black Mamba named after the original Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant, who sadly passed previously this year. Kobe being our team's second robot, we kind of slightly had the hang of things after learning from building Charlie. Though there were still bumps in the road, building him took time, dedication, and patience. Thankfully we were able to see Kobe in action for the UNC Pembroke district event, where we finished ranked 2 with a record of 11-5-1. Then he was required to retire early as COVID hit and the rest of the competitions were closed and FIRST Robotics took a pause. We loved Kobe and appreciated how effectively he moved and how well he executed on the field. Kobe retired too soon but still made a major impact on our team and shined during his first competition.
