Meet Gr8 Dane! 

Gr8 Dane was our returning bot built from retired and repurposed parts from K9! After not competing in any competitions last year, the team was ready to jump back into building and competitions. Though we took a pause this year after kick-offs and took the time to go through the game manual and made sure we knew all the game rules and restrictions. Our team this year built Gr8 Dane effectively and with exemplary measurements and documentation of what was being attached, taken away, or added to him. We were even able to track Gr8 Dane's build progress and put everything into a mechanical binder which allowed us to win the Excellence in Engineering award! Gr8 Dane was built with neat wiring, and LED lights and his metal cut was near perfect so he required little to no adjustments.
