STUDENT ENRICHMENT

CHAPEL

Chapel is held on a regular basis and is required for all full-­time students. These services are under the direction of the staff and include guest speakers and student leadership teams.

LIBRARY

Hampden DuBose Academy houses a digital and an on campus physical library for its students. In addition, teacher research materials are available in a designated area. All students are entitled to use the digital library.

FIELD TRIPS

Students are provided opportunities to attend field trips that enrich and complement the school’s instructional program. Parents will be provided with information concerning each field trip and the teacher will work with them to determine the number of chaperones necessary to make for a successful day. Field trips are to be paid for in advance and no refunds will be given. All field trips are mandatory unless stated otherwise.

TUTORING

If the student requires tutoring, his or her teacher will notify the student, and it will be up to the parent and/or student to schedule time for tutoring. Please note that this is by appointment only.

SPECIAL EVENTS
