Google+ at Hackney Council

Here is some information specific to how we use Google+ at Hackney:

• Anyone can create a community but it would be good to first check if a similar communities already exists that could be used instead. To see the communities that have been created click on Communities within the Google+ app and it will list the Hackney ones first

• Think about who should be able to find and join the community, who should be able to see the content and members, and whether people need to request to be a member. It's really important to get this right from the start as it's not possible to change some settings further down the line. See here for guidance
