iPads will continue to be the right portable device for some of us as an alternative to a Chromebook. We would very rarely expect people to use both
Slightly smaller and lighter than a Chromebook and with the option of 4G connectivity
Typically better suited for simpler work with apps outside of myoffice (vdi)
We expect some of the 900 people with iPads across the Council to switch to using Chromebooks instead so will redeploy their iPads as we progress through the rollout
