Each individual unit has its own independent 240v/mains inter-linkable (with battery back-up) smoke detectors.
Depending on the size of the unit some have two smoke detectors and some have heat detectors depending on unit layout which are in turn interlinked to each other, generally located on the ceiling outside the bedroom(s). An alarm is sounded from a detector when smoke is present, to alert occupants.
Please refer to the Operating Instructions and Warranty for information on how your alarm operates, what the green, red and yellow LED indicators mean and instructions on operating the false alarm hush control, required monthly maintenance and battery replacement.
Note: You must remove the blue protective cover when you move into the apartment.
