Learning Intention: Students will sequence two or three instruction steps to achieve a desired outcome. 

Students created a code using arrows to move their FLUFF to the rainbow. 

Learning Intention: Students will investigate subtraction strategies.

Students learned the cross-out and count back strategies to solve subtraction equations. They also used a number line to solve subtraction equations.

Learning Intention: Students are learning to read and write words, using the letters that represent them.

Students have been continuing their learning in decoding (spell) and encoding (write) CVC (hut) and CCVC (plug)/CVCC (must) words. 

Learning Intention: Students are learning to write sentences that contain complete thoughts, make sense, begin with a capital letter, and end with punctuation.

Wonder Wednesdays - As a class, students are shown an image. We discuss what we see, what we wonder, and what we think about the image. In their writing journals, students complete the following sentence starters:
