Learning Intention: Culture can be expressed by an individual or a community as cultural celebrations and traditions. People can learn about one another by sharing information about cultures, traditions, and histories (origins).
Students contributed to the 1A Traditions poster, sharing their family traditions. Decorating Gingerbread Cookies is a tradition shared by many.Â

Wiki Stix are a fun way to practise spelling & reading our Heart Words.
Learning Intention: Students will read one-syllable words.
Students had fun playing, "I'm The Teacher". In pairs, students took turns being the teacher, asking their friend to spell, and then mark, words.

Learning Intention: Students will model two-dimensional shapes.
Students enjoyed using Geoboards to create circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles. 2D Shape BINGO was also a fun way to review.
