Learning Intention: Physical changes to objects do not change what the objects are made of.
Learners ripped paper, physically changing its properties, to create their snowman. They were able to describe physical changes such as shape, texture, and size.
After listening to the story, Sneezy The Snowman, students brainstormed ways a snowman could melt. We discussed that snow melting was also a physical change!
