This term we are starting the 3.4 Writing Portfolio worth 6 credits (alternative work is for the US ). Then we are going to focus on the 3.9 Close viewing standard worth 3 credits. (option to present, making it worth 6 credits) We are looking at the idea of perspectives and influences. For the writing we will use the Conspiriacy Chart as our spring board and for the close viewing we will use select episodes from 'Black Mirrors. Each week the focus of the learning will be on this website, it will be shown above and you are able to click on relevant dates with FYI copies of work to be completed. You will have your own copies on work in your English folder on google drive :-)

The main learning for the rest of this week is to understand the assessment requirements, understanding the concept of satire and how to 'close view'- VISUAL, VERBAL AND STRUCTURAL

Below you will find a copy of the assessment, and the checkpoints that you should aim to keep up with in order to complete your assessment on time. There is also a copy of the Visual, Oral and Structural techniques you could use to critically examine your chosen episode and clips. Use your planning sheet, which is in your google drive to plan your assessment. Your final version will need to completed on the doc on Workspace.
