Introduction
In this course you will study a wide range of written and visual texts that link to this central theme:
Perspectives: What influences us to see the world as we do? What is the impact on us and the world?
This link to a central theme means that you will be able to study a variety of classic and contemporary texts, and observe your own world through a more critical lens. You will learn how to structure and support an argument in order to make it as irrefutable, and sophisticated, as possible. You will develop strong written and oral skills in analysis and evaluation, judgement and interpretation, and you will write in a range of styles that reflect specific genres.
