Rifle

In rifle team cadets use precision air rifles, shooting .177 caliber pellets, to shoot at targets ten meters away to get as high a score as possible. Cadets shoot from three different positions: prone, kneeling, and standing. Cadets have to learn the strategies that work best for them in order to improve their skills. Cadets on rifle team compete against cadets from other battalions throughout the state, either at the other battalion's range, or our's. Rifle team is a team that requires patience. Cadets have to take their time for each shot in order to be as accurate as possible.
