Motivating Young People to Be Better Citizens

SCHOLARSHIPS, COLLEGE, AND BEYOND

"IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO LEARN, NO ONE CAN HELP YOU, IF YOU'RE DETERMINED TO LEARN, NO ONE CAN STOP YOU."

Why should my student join Junior Reserve Officer Training?

  • JROTC provides students with much needed life skills.

  • JROTC develops students leadership skills as they participate in direct management, middle management, and senior level management.

  • JROTC is a student ran, student planned, live application class with a safety net.

  • JROTC cadets develop self-confidence, management skills, organizational skills, teamwork, team building, and responsibility among other skills.

  • JROTC provides leadership skills that will help prepare students for jobs and college.

  • The intent of JROTC is for every student to have a well defined plan before graduating high school.

What JROTC is NOT

  • JROTC is not a military recruiting center.

  • Joining JROTC does not mean your student must join the military.

  • JROTC is not your normal classroom.

  • JROTC is not an easy "A". The course is not hard, but it will require you to do your assignments and practical exercises.
