Week 7

You came up with so many animals that hatch from eggs! Check out all the answers your classmates gave to the question; What hatches from an egg?

Annalee said that dinosaurs hatch from eggs.

Carly said birds.

Connor said mosquitos, snakes, crabs, eagles and octopus.

Elie said, "Turtles, birds, alligators, frogs, fish and that should be all for now. There are more though."

Hadley said chickens!

Landon said ducks.

Levi said birds, turtles, snakes and fish.

Max said turtles.

Megan said chicks!

Mia said a peacock.

Robyn said turtles and chickens.

Assignment: Choose a Literacy Challenge

Choose an animal from the book, 'Chickens Aren't the Only Ones." Draw it and finish this sentence, "A _______ hatches from an egg."

Complete the guided drawing picture from the video posted above. Take a picture and upload it to the classroom.

Draw a picture of the eggs and tadpoles. Label it with the words eggs and tadpoles. Have someone in your family record your answer to this question, "What do you think will happen next?"

Do a gratitude journal entry. What are you thankful for this week?

It has been 5 weeks since we took photos and drew pictures of a tree near our homes. Has your tree changed at all? Revisit your tree and compare it to the picture you took weeks ago. How is it different? Draw a picture and take a photo of your tree now. Upload it into our classroom.
