Here are some great Lego challenges to try this month!
Feel free to post pictures of anything you build and would like to share with us!
We see many snails in our yard at school! Can you draw one using your hand as a starting point?
Here's a great way to practice counting and build your hand-eye coordination.
You will need a balloon, tape a rule or a stick of some kind. Make a paddle using a paper plate and a ruler or a paint stick.
Your challenge is to count how many times you can bounce the balloon up in the air without letting It touch the ground. Try it 5 times and see if you can beat the number for a highest score. Take a picture of you holding up the number of how many times you were able to keep it in the air! Don’t forget to upload it!
Using the playdough you made last week, add marbles, buttons, toothpicks, and any other loose parts you have around the house. What can you create using these things? Take a picture and post it to the classroom!
What can you build using recycled materials that you find around the house?
Mo Willems is one of our favourite authors! He wrote the Knuffle Bunny Trilogy, the 'Don't Let the Pigeon...' books and our favourite series Elephant and Piggy!
He has started a series of videos called, Lunch Doodles and is teaching us how to draw some of our favourite characters!
Here's episode 1!
