There are a number of ensembles that students can join, many at Pearson and some available outside the school. Please have a look below and click the links for more information.
We have been given permission by the Board to restart ensembles and clubs. There are still restrictions in place, but we now have the opportunity to again rehearse and hopefully to perform.
Twelve is a vocal ensemble of select grade 8 students that focuses on more advanced choir repertoire, small group singing and solo performances.
Rehearsals are held at lunchtimes on Days 1 & 3, and as needed when a performance is coming up.
We will be starting auditions after the Student Council Elections are finished.
Pearson Singers is the largest extra-curricular group in the school. The choir usually consists of about 75 auditioned students from grade 5 to grade 8, who rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:30am.
In order to sing this year we are required to physically distance for rehearsals. Due to the size of the group, we are still in the process of working out how we will operate this year.
