The end-of-year Quebec trip was an annual tradition at Pearson up to the onset of the pandemic. The 2019 trip was cancelled and refunded to the parents and has not taken place since.
Last year we did do a one day trip to Niagara Falls.

Below is the proposed itinerary for 2023 trip. It has taken a while to finalize pricing from suppliers as this is the first year trips of this type have been again allowed by the province. The dates for this year's trip, if we go ahead, will be Tuesday, June 20th, to Friday, June 23rd, 2023.

Highway Coaches - Two coaches for the entire trip. (We do not all fit on one coach.)
Hotel Royal, Quebec City - Our hotel is just outside of the St. John Gates of Uppertown Quebec. This location allows us to walk to a number of our activities rather than spending our time in Quebec traffic each day.
Professional, Certified Guides - Two guides who join us in Quebec city to tell us of the history and culture of the Quebec area.
Le Musée du Fort offers an exceptional educational illustration of numerous battles fought in the 18th century that have carved Quebec’s history.
Towers at the Plains of Abraham - Accompanied by Bri'sh officers, learn all about the condi'ons of the soldiers living in the Martello Towers. Soldier of the Tower will introduce you to the 1812 military lifestyle through compe''ons and games.
Citadelle of Québec - A func'oning military installa'on for the Canadian Forces, as well as the official residence of both the monarch of Canada and the Governor General of Canada.
“Cabane a Sucre” - Sugar Shack - An unforgettable evening of food & fun. Enter the main Shack and prepare for a true Quebecois Feast! Served family-styled, pots of food are put on the table so you may serve yourself. A local performer will entertain you during dinner with traditional "Quebecois" songs and music.
On the second day we sety out for a Guided tour of the Beaupre Coast. There are a number od stops we make along the way.

Basilique Sainte-Anne de Beaupré - One of the most important religious emblems in Quebec.
Montmorency Waterfall - 100 feet higher than Niagara Falls, this a prime picture taking location.
AML Louis Jolliet for your evening dance cruise - with space for up to 1000 passengers, this boat stands out by its versa'lity, featuring a different atmosphere on each.
The Quebec trip includes all meals other than lunch on the first day. We ask students to bring a lunch for the bus trip as the 401 Enroute stops are incredibly busy with other schools travelling on this particular week.
The total cost for this trip in 2019 was $12.75.00. The cost have gone up. The cost for this year's proposed trip is $1515.00. Insurance for trip cancelation is an added cost. ($128.50. An extra charge for insurance was the same in 2019.)
Last year we did a one day trip to Niagara Fall. This was a one day excursion to see the falls and spend time a an amusement area called Clifton Hill. The price for this trip was $160.00. Below is the itinerary for that day. The trip would be comperable but a bit more than last year, if we select this option.
We have always included an option to do no trip, if for some reason parents decided that an end-of-year trip was not a good idea.
