An evolution of my beliefs about teaching and where I fit in the world of education.
An evolution of my beliefs about teaching and where I fit in the world of education.
I believe education thrives when students feel seen, valued, and capable. I aim to create an inclusive classroom that nurtures belonging and confidence.
My philosophy is grounded in the understanding that students learn best in environments where they feel safe, respected, and connected. When students experience belonging and value, they are more willing to take academic risks, persist through challenges, and develop confidence in their abilities.
I believe that students deserve a fun learning environment where they feel trusted and safe.
This is my pocket-sized philosophy because children learn best when they are able to build a relationship and trust you as a teacher. I have seen just how important relationships are from my field experience and how that greatly affects the students' learning. I want to build that fun learning environment and always let my students know I am there for them and they can trust me.
I believe it is important to build meaningful relationships with students, and to create a safe place for them to learn.
