Teach Live is an interactive teaching simulation used to help preservice teachers develop instructional and classroom management skills. During my experience, I worked with student avatars that responded in real time, allowing me to practice lesson delivery and manage classroom interactions in a controlled, realistic environment.
This artifact is important to my development as a teacher because it allowed me to practice instructional strategies in a realistic setting while receiving meaningful feedback. During the Teach Live simulation, I demonstrated strengths in content knowledge, clear communication, and student engagement through questioning and discussion. It also highlighted an area for growth in classroom management, as I need to be more consistent in redirecting off-task behavior. Overall, this experience helped me better understand the balance between effective instruction and classroom management as I continue to grow as an educator.
