"Presented with recognition and sincere appreciation for your inspiration and motivation. You have made a difference in my life!"
P.E. teachers from Bridlewood, Liberty, Old Settlers, and Flower Mound Elementary visited Wellington for an afternoon of professional learning on October 7th. During this session, I shared multiple warm-up activities and game ideas.
Three P.E. teachers from Grapevine/Colleyville ISD came to observe our P.E. Classes on Halloween. I received the following e-mail from Coach Jodi Lucas afterwards...
Hello!
Hope you are off to a great start this year. We are changing up our field day format and I'm adding news stations.
I loved your crab chaos game -- can you tell me where the crabs and the solid chutes are from.
Thank you for sharing your ideas! I've learned a lot and my kids really are enjoying them too!

Trish Cuckler, LISD P.E. Coordinator, shared this text message with me and forwarded it to Mrs. Braun as well. She received it from Koby Stringer. I thought it was a nice compliment.
I have had the privilege of mentoring and working alongside Avery Young each Tuesday after school. I was overjoyed by her enthusiasm to take on extra responsibilities as a first year teacher, and am so grateful for her willingness to help with the Wellington Jump Rope Team! Avery has been a lovely addition to our Wellington Family and a huge asset to our school's Jump Rope Club.
Austin Tilley has been a phenomenal student teacher! I appreciate his maturity, work ethic, and willingness to take initiative. One of his greatest strengths by far is his intuitive awareness of student needs. He has done a remarkable job of building rapport with our pupils. Working alongside CoachTilley for the past several weeks has been very refreshing. He produced well detailed lesson plans, was always willing to stay late and work overtime, showed true passion for physical education, and did an excellent job of building relationships with staff, students, and administrators. Teaching and leading instruction is natural and comfortable for Austin. He is gifted at working with kids and exudes joy when he's in his element. His contributions to our program have been extremely helpful!
I will be presenting a P.E. Professional Development on Tuesday, June 20th for physical educators in our district.
