A new Legacy award was presented this year to honour the time, dedication and leadership that both Jen and Kevin Veinot have given Northeast Kings over their 20+ years in the building. The "V2" stands to two Veinots.
The award is given to two grade 12 students who model and apply daily the following criteria;
1. Behind-the-Scenes Dedication (Organizational Excellence)
2. Living the Titan Way (Cultural Stewardship)
3. The "Lifting" Effect (Unsung Energy)
4. Resilience & Accountability
5. Fostering "One Titan" (Ambassadorship)

The Northeast Kings Education Centre Titans are based in Canning, Nova Scotia.

Opened in 2001, Northeast Kings Education Centre is a grade 6-12 school with a population of approx. 900 students drawing from 14 communities in the County of Kings. We have almost 90 staff members supporting our school community.

They did it!
After a few years of trying the Sr boys team win the big one, defeating Halfiax Grammar in the Semi Final 7-1, the Titans took on Ecole Secondaire Mosaique Mustangs in the Final. After a cagey start the boys took a 2-0 lead, only for the Mustangs to pull one back. A tight second half was broken open by a wonder goal from Mylo pushing the Titans ahead 3-1. Game final 4-1
