NSSAF Winter Sports

Due to the ongoing restrictions from inter regional play as part of the COVID response, the NSSAF will not hold provincial championships in the winter sports (basketball, curling, hockey, skiing, snowboarding, and wrestling). Regional championships may be held following Public Health and Centre of Education guidelines for COVID.

Final dates for regional competition of the winter sports will be:

• Basketball April 17

• Curling March 27

• Hockey April 1

• Skiing March 10

• Snowboarding March 7

• Wrestling March 6

Updates will be posted on the "COVID UPDATES" page located on the NSSAF website.

NSSAF Spring Sports

NSSAF Spring Sports will maintain current start up dates but final dates for provincial championships (if possible) have been updated to accommodate changes created by the winter schedule. New end dates for spring sports include:

• Badminton May 1

• Table Tennis May 22

• Rugby June 12

• Slo Pitch June 12

• Track and Field June 12

Decisions regarding Provincial Championships for spring sports will depend on Public Health restrictions and will be made at a later date.

NSSAF will continue to update member schools if changes to public health restrictions impact the information or dates above.
