NKEC BADMINTON CLUB

The NKEC Badminton Club is open to all students from grades 6 to 12.  The club offers an opportunity to learn the skills and rules of the game and to play with and against athletes of all different ages and skill levels.  The club usually begins in December - depending on the availability of gym time.  We practice one day a week, immediately after school, for one hour.  As the season approaches, our coaches will determine who will be competing at the District, Regional and Provincial competitions.  At this point we will be practicing twice a week.  The cost to play is usually between $30.00 and $40.00 dollars.
