NKEC is fortunate to have 90% of its teams coached by staff working within the school. As well as this, there are also a number of talented and dedicated members of the community who coach and support the school teams in a variety of ways.
As a team we strive to build a positive and supportive environment for our student athletes to develop on and off the field. None of this would be possible without the endless hours of volunteer time from our coaches and support staff.
Thank you for continuing to provide opportunities for our students outside of the classroom, and helping them develop life long skills to become great citizens of the world.

All volunteers (including coaches) are required to complete and have on file in Human Resources (not at the school), a Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, a Child Abuse Approval Letter and a Volunteer Form.

Here is the revised Criminal Records Check/Vulnerable Sector Check letter for a volunteer. Please only use the attached current letter from Lesley MacDonald, Director of Human Resources, as the RCMP will not accept outdated letters. You will notice that the school and/or volunteer will need to complete the duties/roles (check boxes) of what they will be doing in the school and with students.
