Places of Worship
Our region has been shaped by the cultural contributions of different communities, such as the Mi'kmaq, African, Acadian, and many others. Religious traditions like Christianity and Judaism also played an important role in our history. Today, our community is even more diverse, with many people who follow different beliefs or who do not identify with any religion. This diversity is respected and valued.
You can see this diversity in the many places of worship around the area, some of which may require traveling to Halifax. Below is a list of resources to help you find your options. We encourage you to explore and choose the group or organization that fits your beliefs and needs.
