EAL stands for English as an Additional Language. It is a program for students who are learning English while attending class in an English-speaking environment. Being surrounded by the English language every day helps your child learn the language quickly.

EAL support can look different for each student. Sometimes, our EAL teachers assist students in the classroom. Other times, students work in small groups or one-on-one with a teacher outside the classroom. This extra support helps your child improve their English skills and feel more confident at school.
