Parent Teacher Meetings are very important.  Teachers will share with you how your child is doing at school, and you can ask questions or share your perspective. Your child's EAL Teacher can book an interpreter for you if you don't feel comfortable to speak English only. Please let them know at least one week in advance so that the school can make the required arrangements.
