As we come to the end of an incredible year in Year 3, we have had several meaningful opportunities to celebrate the students’ learning, growth, and achievements. One of the highlights was our Year 3 UOI Assembly, which served as a wonderful showcase of everything the students have explored and accomplished throughout the year. The students confidently took to the stage to express themselves through dancing, singing, storytelling, poetry, and painting, demonstrating not only their creativity but also their growth as communicators. The assembly was more than just a performance—it was a reflection of their learning journey and a celebration of the passions, skills, and understanding they have developed over the past ten months. It was a touching moment for both teachers and parents to see how much the students have grown since the beginning of the school year.
Another memorable event was Jump Up Day, which gave our Year 3 students the opportunity to step into leadership roles as they welcomed the future Year 3 students. Working collaboratively, they created presentations to share their experiences, favorite memories, and valuable insights about life in Year 3. The students demonstrated empathy, confidence, and open-mindedness as they guided the younger students and helped them feel excited about the year ahead. It was wonderful to see them take pride in sharing their knowledge while helping ease any worries the future Year 3 students may have had about moving into a new grade level.
To conclude the year, we gathered for our Year-End Class Party, a joyful and heartfelt celebration of the friendships and memories we have built together. With the generous support of our classroom parents, the students enjoyed spending quality time together one last time before the summer break. Receiving their end-of-year certificates was a proud moment for each student, recognizing their hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments throughout the year. The celebration also gave us time to reflect on the strong relationships that have been formed within our classroom community. Over the course of the year, the students have grown into caring friends, principled learners, and supportive classmates. As they move forward to new adventures, they carry with them not only their achievements but also the friendships and memories that will remain long after their Year 3 journey comes to an end.
It has been a truly wonderful year, and we are incredibly proud of all that our students have accomplished. We wish them a happy, restful summer and look forward to seeing all the amazing things they will continue to achieve in the future.
