Dear Global Jaya Community,
Congratulations to all of our students, parents, and teachers for another successful year at Global Jaya School. Our focus on putting students first and fostering a strong sense of community has resulted in a year of successes in the classroom, on the field, in the theater, and beyond. I am always impressed with the level of commitment and resilience demonstrated by our students, so their successes this year are not a surprise to me, but instead the result of their hard work. Having said that, I hope everyone takes time over the long-holiday to relax and re-energize before we do it all again in the next school year.
Meanwhile, this past week we celebrated the graduation of two year levels and the bridging of another year level. Both our Year 6 and 12 students participated in their annual graduation ceremonies, while our Year 5 students took part in a Bridging ceremony as part of their new journey to join the Secondary school next year. With respect to our Year 12 students, I wish them all the best in their future endeavours as they head off to university in Indonesia and around the world. And we look forward to the Year 5 and 6 students joining the Secondary School next year as they begin their MYP journey. For anyone who missed any of our graduations or celebrations, please check out our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/GlobalJayaSchoolOfficial/videos.

The first day of the 2026-2027 school year is Monday, August 10, 2026. Please stay connected with the school during the long-holiday through messages shared in Managebac if and when needed. Otherwise, please expect our next edition of the Kontak newsletter, the first edition of the 2026-2027 school year, to be sent out on August 7, 2026.
The Academic Calendar for 2026-2027 is set and you can access it here and on our school website.
