In Kindergarten, students learn about why greetings are important and how to do greetings in Islam. Our youngest learners are excited to practice the greetings with their friends.Â
In Christian and Catholic lessons, Kindergarten students are learning about the act of loving friends. They are learning to practice one example of showing love by praying for a friend who is sick. In Catholic class, students are learning about God the Creator. They are observing the environment outside the classroom and are finding various creations of God that have been studied. Students are grateful that God is very good. Students express it through a prayer giving thanks. (Photo 5 - Photo 12)
Every Monday, our Kindergarten students listen to different types of stories from our school librarian. They demonstrate good audience listening skills throughout the storytelling time. They show enthusiasm about the stories they listen to. Story time at the library provides ways for children to be exposed to reading and different types of language in various story genres. We love reading!
