Earth Day 2020

2020 marks the 50^th Anniversary of Earth Day. In honour of this milestone, Global Jaya Primary students shared some of the wonderful environmentally responsible action taking place in their own homes.

Wearing natural environmental colours during Google Meets.

Taking care of the garden at home by planting, watering and caring regularly for the plants.

Sharing ideas about recycling.

Students also enthusiastically participated in the poem and letter competitions. A variety of topics were discussed, here are just a few examples:

The Environment Committee would like to extend our gratitude to the students, parents and teachers for making this event possible. Your support is very much appreciated.

We encourage you to keep doing what you think is best for your environment. This moment in time might not be a good time for us to go out and enjoy nature outdoors, but if you look closely, you may see that nature is healing itself slowly from the pollution we have caused.
