  • Training 1 hour with Dolgellau Ladies Netball Club and playing one or two games a week.

  • Training for approximately 3 hours a week with Dolgellau Cricket Club. This can also include going to the gym .

  • Working part time at a hotel (but she has been put on furlough this year.)

A Gold Active Ambassador, Llio studies A Level Biology, Geography & Physical Education at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor, Dolgellau. Llio volunteers weekly with Dolgellau Cricket Club and Glan Wnion Leisure centre U11’s Netball Club coaching and has also helped out with tournaments. After college, Llio is hoping to study at University but is still undecided on what course to take.

Llio got into cricket after watching her father play. She started playing 4 years ago when Dolgellau Cricket Club set up a female junior section. Llio was selected to play for the club's senior men's third team before being promoted to the men's second team and has now been selected for the Wales Girls U17 Cricket Team (2020) with her first cap being in August 2020.

Llio is also hoping to start training 3 hours a week with the Cricket Wales Girls winter training squad and to have a few full training squad sessions during college holidays and the occasional weekend.

In her spare time Llio also plays Netball with Dolgellau Netball Team in the North Wales league.

"Sport has always been a big part of my life and it’s nice to be able to take on a different role within sport rather than just playing where I am able to help out the community and build connections with different people."

"My favourite thing about college is seeing friends. After these past few months I have come to realise how important they are for my well being. I definitely appreciate the time I have with them a lot more now."
