If you are chaperoning a new QM, you are not the host. Think of it like this - you got a substitute for your quiz, but you're watching them work to make sure they're doing it right.
To prepare for a chaperone night, do the following:
Download and prepare the quiz materials, just in case you need to take over.
Pay attention to the host - their vocal presence, technical ability, personality, etc.
Fill out the Chaperone Feedback Form within 24 hours of the quiz.
Do not fill out a blog of any kind. You will be paid manually once we receive the Chaperone Feedback Form.
You are there as emergency backup only - if there's an AV failure; if the host no-shows; if they throw a fit and storm out in the middle of Round 3.
Please note: Chaperone nights are NOT a required part of the training process. The training team will decide whether or not to schedule a New QM for a Chaperone night based on the feedback received from Training Nights 1 and 2.
