Why we have more sunlight in different seasons:

We have more sunlight when the Earth is facing the Sun. This explains why we have more sunlight in the summer rather than winter. See the picture below.

The Earth tilts on its axis throughout the seasons. When it is summer (hot) England is facing the sun. When it is winter (cold)the England is facing away from the sun.

It is not safe to look at the sun even if you are wearing dark sunglasses.
