Solid Waste Yard

Directions: Turn south off Via Linda onto E. San Salvador Drive. After approximately 500 feet, you will see the Solid Waste yard. When you arrive, wait outdoors by the main entrance until a City of Scottsdale water employee arrives, verifies your name on the roster, and lets you in through the security doors.
In the main office, go upstairs. There will be ADEQ Testing signs set up inside and outside.
Check in 1/2 hour prior to test
All testing is online; therefore, you may take any test at any location and time. Once you have found the correct date and time, click onto the hyperlinked date. It will take you to the appropriate PurplePass ticket. Once you have completed your order, you will receive email confirmation from PurplePass. Bring a copy of the email receipt with you, along with appropriate photo identification, when you check in to test.
All tests are given in the 2017 ABC Edition. It is advised that you look at the NEED TO KNOW materials that are found HERE.
BATHROOM POLICY: Testers are NOT allowed to use the bathroom facilities while taking the exam. Therefore, be sure to use the facility prior to testing.
The only exception is for testers with frequent urination/bladder continence issues. If you have bladder issues, you will be allowed to use the bathroom... BUT ONLY if you provide a doctor's note to the proctors. Further, the bathrooms will be checked before and after you are done and if anything is found it will be reported and you will not be allowed to finish your exam.

DO NOT CONTACT ABC FOR ANY CHANGE REQUESTS FOR THESE TESTS.
NO SHOW POLICY!
If you purchase a ticket and DO NOT show up for your test, your ticket WILL NOT be rescheduled. Instead, you must purchase a new ticket for the next test. The only exception to this rule is if you have contacted Maggie prior to the test with your excuse for not showing, and she will reschedule your test.

The morning sessions are password protected for City of Scottsdale employees. If there are available tickets a few weeks prior to testing, the tickets will be opened to the public for sale. Keep checking.
The afternoon sessions are open to the public and Scottsdale employees. No passwords are used.
