How to Register

To register to take an exam, you will need to purchase a PurplePass ticket. The 'dated blue hyper-links' will take you to the appropriate PurplePass ticket:

Please note: All test orders are final so make sure that you have ordered the right exam and have cleared the test date with your management. GateWay will not be able to provide any test cancellations or test order fee reimbursements.

When you check in, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure you have the RIGHT test AND the correct math conversion table that coincides with the test.  The proctors will also focus on this but it is your ultimate responsibility.  The proctors will give you the conversion sheets to use.

You may order only ONE exam per 3-hour test session. That means if you test at a location that offers ONE session for that day, you may only order one test for that day. If you test at an area that offers two 3-hour sessions (one in am and one in pm), you may order a test for the morning session and another test for the afternoon session. You MUST purchase the tickets separately.

What to Bring for Testing

When you check in for the exam, you will need to present: your PurplePass registration receipt (email confirmation) and a valid photo ID (Current state or any government driver's license, or photo ID issued on or after January 1, 1997... OR a... Current passport)

It is GateWay Testing Center policy that THEY will provide calculators for you to use... you MAY NOT use your own.  However, if you test at off-campus locations (other than the GateWay Testing Center), you will be able to use your OWN non-programmable/non-scientific calculator... BUT!  It MUST be approved by the proctor..  Beyond that, no other materials of any kind are allowed in the testing room.  Your cell phone will be turned off and stored out of sight. The proctor will provide: a calculator (if yours is not acceptable), pencil, paper, and a testing conversion table sheet for you to refer to during the test.

CHECK IN ONE HALF HOUR BEFORE YOUR TEST.
