Testing Information: MORNING candidates must go to the library's back (south) DELIVERY door by ringing the doorbell and knocking for access. To enter the classroom, knock on the library's back door.
Fee: $99 plus a PurplePass handling fee.
Register: Visit PurplePass to select your preferred test date and location.
Complete your purchase to receive a confirmation email from PurplePass.
Arrive 30 minutes before your test.
You will be assigned a locker to store personal belongings.
Bring a valid photo ID and your PurplePass confirmation email.
All tests are given using the 2025 ABC Edition.
Review the Need to Know materials before your exam.
All testing is online; you may test at any available location and time.
Calculators:
You may bring your own calculator, but it must be approved by the proctor before use.
Bathroom Use:
No bathroom use is allowed during the exam unless you have a documented medical condition.
A doctor’s note must be provided to the proctor in advance. Restrooms will be checked before and after use.
No Studying Nearby:
Studying is not permitted in the vicinity of the testing room.
No-Show Policy:
If you miss your test, your ticket will not be refunded or rescheduled. You must purchase a new ticket.
Exceptions are made only for emergencies if you email operatorcert@gatewaycc.edu within one day of the test.
PurplePass staff and proctors cannot reschedule exams.
Change Requests:
Do not contact PurplePass for changes. All rescheduling must be done through operatorcert@gatewaycc.edu.
