Male.

Description: No visible markings but he does not have a hole in his shell, whereas the other one does

Temperament: He is very friendly and is happy to be handled.

Female.

Description: Red stripes on face with a hole on the back of her shell.

Temperament: She is a bit more nervous and will sometimes hide in her shell when being handled.

Can take longer to accept food from tongs, need to be calm and patient, ensuring that Philip is at the other end of the enclosure to reduce agonistic behaviours.
