Chilean Rose Tarantula
The Chilean rose tarantula (Grammostola rosea) is one of the most popular tarantula species in the pet trade as they are considered to have a calm and docile nature. In captivity females have been known to live up to 20 years! As a predatory species they feed on a variety of different prey species such as invertebrates, and small vertebrates such as mice, frogs and lizards.
