2022 GNSA Conference

Sarah Delgado  and Carina Menjivar (Class of 2023)

Two DNP students selected to attend the 2022 Graduate Nursing Student Academy Conference.

Carina Menjivar, MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, and Sarah Delgado, MSN, RN, ACNP, have been selected by the School of Nursing to receive full sponsorship to attend the 2022 Graduate Nursing Student Academy Conference.

Sarah was selected because she is a scholarly student whose interests align with healthcare policy.  She is employed by the American Association of Critical Care Nursing and has worked towards making an impact on the health and well-being of nurses.  Her DNP Scholarly Project will be focused upon nurse staffing ratios.

Carina was chosen because she is a nurse executive who is interested in nursing leadership and success.  She is employed as a Quality Manager at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center striving to support job performance and managerial leadership. Her DNP Scholarly Project will be focused upon the implementation of a leadership program for nurse managers.

Faculty and peers are proud that Sarah and Carina were chosen to represent their cohort at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) conference for students who have proven to be leaders in the profession.
