First Idea: 8th Wall - For the 8th wall Idea, we planned for the user to be immersed through the alternative reality but there were hiccups when it came to putting the locations into the 8th wall. Most of the location we chose were not registering in the 8th wall because of safety reasons and because there was no activated VPS Lightship scans at the locations.
Second Idea: Alternative Games: - For the alternative games we had an idea of breaking all the games into different interfaces. We were going to have the players access the mini-games through Qualtrics, Canva, and Google Forms. We found that this was going to make everything complicated since it would be hard for the players to not have a steady interface to incorporate all of the games.
Final Ideas: We merged everything into a Qualtrics survey. We deemed this the best format to conduct this survey because it is so user-friendly. Everything will be in one spot, so players can move from game to game seamlessly and without having to worry about our game being phone-friendly.
Recommendations/Future Ideas: We have several exciting recommendations and ideas for the future. Among these is the implementation of new game concepts, including an interactive virtual reality game, to enhance the gaming experience for the community. Additionally, we propose involving business owners more actively within the game to promote greater community engagement. We are thrilled to see how future teams and classes will further develop these ideas and bring them to fruition.
