Welcome to the world of Meshanticut! Meshanticut is rich in history and culture and resides in modern-day Rhode Island. Meshanticut is the world where the Europeans lost King Philip’s war almost 350 years ago, and over the decades the Dutch and the rest of the European colonists were rid from America. Although these lands were once prosperous, the chippanoonk, or tribes, have lost their way and forgotten the teachings of Nuwomanitook Nuttuksowoag of the relatedness of all. Within the lands of Meshanticut, Kawtawntawitt, the creator, divided the Nuwomanitook Nuttuksowoag into nine virtues and placed them at nine sacred sites and guarded each with a wauchaunat, or guardian. To get past the guardian, one must prove they seek virtue and righteousness. The beginning of your journey starts as a young warrior seeking to restore the Path of Michachuck to the realm, to learn the nine virtues and bring back the opulence that once existed in Meshanticut. You must find and travel to each of the nine sites and complete challenges posed by the wauchaunat to learn the nine virtues. Along the way you will encounter the Wunnandchick (spirits) who may help guide your journey, however you must also confront the chippanoonk and their quarrels with one another and other cataracts that you must surmount to succeed in bringing prosperity back to Meshanticut. Will you succeed in obtaining the nine virtues and bring Meshanticut back to the Path of Michachuck and prosperity or will you fall to the unhinged ways of the rest of the chippanoonk?
