Journal Prompt: What activities have you been doing to keep busy? What activities have you done because we are social distancing?

Optional: ask an adult at home some things they are doing to keep busy that they wouldn’t normally have time for.

Here are directions from the first week of journaling. We are experiencing an historical event and would like you to create a journal of your experience during this time. In the future, you can look back on this journal and share with others. You are creating a primary source for future generations. Each week we will give you a new prompt to write or draw about.

Create or buy a journal

  • You can use a notebook or staple some pages together

  • Order a journal online if needed

  • Optional: decorate the cover

  • Ask an adult to help you save this important work.
