Router Table

The router table is a table that can be used to perform routing operations. These are most often creating fillets (rounding edges) or cutting grooves. The router is best used with wood or plastics, and the router can be removed from the table for use if necessary. To use, the guide is adjusted to the appropriate distance from the router bit, and the workpiece is pushed against the guide and past the router bit, which removes material by rotating at high speeds. The router is used to round the edges of the E4 hammer handle after shaping and before sanding, so before changing the router bit, check with a proctor, and make sure to change it back after.
